Parking Software Improvements

ParkUToledo is thrilled to announce enhancements to our virtual permitting software!

Since 2019, The University of Toledo has utilized NuPark as its virtual permitting software for parking services. Come May 2024, ParkUToledo will transition all customers to vPermit, powered by Smarter City Solutions.

ParkUToledo’s new vPermit software is set to debut on Wednesday, May 1, 2024. Rest assured, existing parking permit holders will experience no disruptions, as their permit details will seamlessly transfer to the new platform. For those interested in purchasing Summer 2024 semester permits, the process will be conducted exclusively through ParkUToledo’s vPermit system.

You can continue accessing your parking portal by visiting https://vpermit.com/parkutoledo/Account/Login or by clicking the link provided in your UTAD account.

To facilitate software updates, purchasing parking permits through your parking portal will be temporarily unavailable from 4 p.m. on Friday, April 26 until May 1, 2024. However, it’s worth noting that parking permits won’t be required starting Saturday, April 27, 2024. Meters and the ParkMobile App will continue to operate as usual in metered areas.

Parking permits will NOT be enforced from Saturday, April 27, through Sunday, May 5, 2024. Exceptions include: reserved, disabled, metered, patient and no overnight parking spaces/areas which are enforced 24/7. Regular permit enforcement resumes at 7am on Monday, May 6, 2024.

Permit purchasing will be available in the new vPermit system (your parking portal), starting on Wednesday, May 1, 2024. You will have the ability to access your parking portal through your UTAD account, or by visiting: https://vpermit.com/parkutoledo/Account/Login

ParkUToledo will provide user guides and digital tutorials in the coming days. ParkUToledo will also email additional information to the appropriate parties regarding events and departmental permits in the coming weeks. In the meantime, if you have any questions, please email us at: info@parkutoledo.com.
