Parking Area 1S, located east of Health and Human Services on Main Campus, will be closing for construction starting at midnight on Monday, May 29th, 2023. During the renovation project, employees and students are encouraged to park as their permits allow in Areas 1N, 2, 3, 5, 6 and 10. This summer, Area 18 (located North of the Computer Center, near the Student Recreation Center) will close in phases, starting at 6PM on Sunday, May 7th. Area 43, located South of the Health Education Building – just South of Transverse Drive between Health Center Drive and E. Medical Loop, will be closed this summer to undergo a complete renovation. Starting Sunday, April 23, 2023, Parking Area 40, the main patient parking lot South of Arlington Ave near UToledo Medical Center’s main entrance, will close for approximately 10-weeks. During construction, patients will be directed to park in Area 41, located Northwest of the Heart & Vascular Center, North of the Emergency Department – off the corner of Arlington Ave & Hospital Drive at Entrance 2 (see image below). “G” & “A2” permit holders will still be permitted to park in Area 41 as usual. The Mercy Health Glass City Marathon returns to The University of Toledo. Various parking areas on main campus will be affected from Thursday, April 20, through Sunday, April 23, 2023. The University of Toledo football team will host Bowling Green in its final home game of the football season on Tuesday, November 15, at the Glass Bowl. Permit holders will be affected on 11/15, please refer to the information below and be sure to move all vehicles from the listed parking areas by the designated times. The renovation of Area 48, the parking lot that surrounds Ruppert Health Center on Health Science Campus, is now complete. Please remember, green lined spaces on both campuses are for patient parking only. Employee parking is not permitted on the north side of Area 48, as the spaces are now lined in green paint to indicate patient parking only. The renovation project for Area 48, which serves the Ruppert Health Center on The University of Toledo Health Science Campus, will shift to Phase 2B on Sunday, October 9, 2022. During construction, the open section of Area 48 will be for PATIENT PARKING ONLY – staff and UToledo service vehicles will NOT be permitted to park in Area 48.
