Area 9 Closed Oct. 11 & 12

The University of Toledo is celebrating its sesquicentennial with a Founder’s Day Concert in Area 9 on Wednesday, October 12, 2022. In preparation for the event, Area 9 will close at 12am (midnight) on Tuesday, 10/11. All vehicles in Area 9 will be towed starting at 11am on Tuesday, 10/11. “A” & “D” permit holders affected by the Area 9 closure are encouraged to park in Areas 8, 18, 25 and 27B. Permits will not be enforced from 2pm on Wednesday, 10/12 until 7am on Thursday, 10/13. Exceptions Include: handicap, reserved, patient, metered and no overnight parking spaces/areas. Area 9

Parking Info for Homecoming Week

The University of Toledo will celebrate its annual homecoming festivities next week, culminating with the football game against Central Michigan on Saturday, October 1, 2022. Area 13 will close at 4pm on Friday, September 30. Vehicles not moved out of the parking area will be ticketed starting at 6pm. All parties coming to campus for the Annual Edward C. and Helen G. Area 48 Construction Shifting to Phase 2A

The renovation project for Area 48, which serves the Ruppert Health Center on The University of Toledo Health Science Campus, is on schedule and will shift to Phase 2A on Tuesday, September 27, 2022. During construction, the open section of Area 48 will be for PATIENT PARKING ONLY – staff and UToledo service vehicles will NOT be permitted to park in Area 48. Construction Soon Starting on Area 48

Renovations on Area 48, which serves the Ruppert Health Center on The University of Toledo Health Science Campus, will begin on Tuesday, September 6. The surface lot will be reconstructed from the ground up in three construction phases. Weather permitting, the parking area will reopen in late October. Area 44 Shifts to Phase 2

Renovations on parking Area 44 located near the Collier Building on the University of Toledo’s Health Science Campus will transition to phase 2 on Thursday, July 21. During the second phase of construction, Ravine Drive along with the North section of the area will close (see map below). Area 42A Renovation Begins Mid-July

Area 42A, located along Hospital Drive on Health Science Campus, will close in mid-July for repaving and restriping. Once completed, the area will have a new, more efficient traffic flow pattern. “We are removing the deadends at the parking bollards in Area 42A as we restripe so permit holders will have a much easier time getting in and out of their parking spaces,” said Sherri Kaspar, executive director of ParkUToledo. Employees, students and affiliates parking on The University of Toledo Health Science and Main Campuses now have the option to register to park in patient parking areas for periods when they’ll be on site as a patient.
